Description: This Project is open to all WEBBs worldwide, accepts both Y-DNA and mtDNA samples. As of 11/30/2004, we have 2 mtDNA and 67 Y-DNA samples. We have 9 identified groups and about 20 unmatched lineages. Two of our samples are from the United Kingdom. The remainder are from the USA with a slight emphasis on the South and Midwest due to recruiting efforts of the participants. However, we welcome more samples from other regions of the US. We do have one sample from the Richard Webb of CT line and one from the Christopher Webb line.
