Site or database name: The Sandrock Family History
Description: Welcome to my families website. My name is Silvia Sandrock, and below is the reason I have created this. I got my first computer about eight years ago? and of course, what is a computer without the internet? Well, one day while browsing and exploring, I found a page that read ?find friends and lost family members.? Having little- to-no knowledge of my own family, I was interested and began to type in the names of family members whom I could remember. You see, my immediate family members (parents, siblings, etc.) were somewhat estranged. Especially my mother and I, and I?ve never really known her. My father, who is now deceased, divorced my mother when I was just an infant, and brought us back to Germany. So, to find my mother was then and is still my motivation for this endeavor. I have also always thought it to be a terrible thing not to know where one has come from. Having said that, this site has been created for my four children: Christopher, Cathleen, Lisa and Amanda, all of whom I love very much.
