PIERRE from Nicolet, Quebec, Canada (French Canadian); and LIEGEOIS (LIEGOIS, LEGOIS) and MARCELLE from Belgium. These families all immigrated to the United States in the mid 1800's and settled mainly in Wisconsin and Minnesota, with some (mostly WAHLMANs) settling in Michigan.
